Presentation Guidelines

Poster guidelines

The default format for the posters is A0 portrait. The standard layout is: introduction; materials and methods; results; discussion and conclusion. You may slightly deviate from this template if it suits your subject. Please use figures and tables to clarify your results and provide references.
On site you can find a plan of the poster boards. Hang your poster at the poster board according to the assigned poster number. In addition you can bring a tablet or other portable device to show a PowerPoint presentation, or additional supportive material.

Presentation guidelines

Presentations should be in Microsoft Office Powerpoint format (‘.ppt’ or ‘.pptx’). Size 16×9 is mandatory. Please note that computers at the meeting will be supplied with Windows. We recommend you to be present 5-10 minutes before the start of the session to introduce yourself to the moderators, so that they know who you are and how to pronounce your name, institution, current position etc.

Presentations are limited to 9 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of questions. The session moderators will notify you when your time is almost up. The program is tight, so please stick to the maximum presentation time.

Please mail your presentation to meeting2018@ismrm-benelux.org before Wednesday January 24th 23:59h!

Power poster guidelines

Power poster is a concept that combines the maximum exposure of a presentation with the extended time for questions of a poster.  First there are plenary short power point presentations of 4 minutes, with no time for questions. Presentations will follow each other quickly, so please stick to the maximum presentation time. During the regular poster session, there is the opportunity to present the work as a traditional poster, giving plenty of time for discussion.
