ISMRM Benelux Challenges 2026

Every year, ISMRM Benelux brings together creativity, innovation, and collaboration across the MRI community. For our 2026 meeting in Antwerp, we are excited to announce three interactive challenges that invite researchers, clinicians, and students to engage beyond traditional presentations.

Whether you want to sharpen your visual storytelling skills, channel your frustrations into humor, or tackle real-world problems straight from the clinic—there’s a challenge for you.

Explore the options below and take part:

• Meme Challenge
  MRI is not all field strengths and pulse sequences—it’s also pain, laughter, and endless artifacts. Turn your MRI struggles into memes and compete for eternal scientific meme glory (and prizes!). Awards include a €250 travel grant for the first place winner. Deadline for submission is 23 January 2026.

• Graphical Abstract Challenge
  Showcase your work with a clear, engaging, and clinically relevant graphical abstract. Highlight your contribution to the path from bench to bedside, and make your research shine visually. Awards include a €500 travel grant for the first place winner. Deadline for submission is 23 January 2026.

• Clinical Unmet Needs Challenge
  Work directly on pressing MRI problems identified by clinicians. Choose one of the unmet needs, propose a creative solution, and present your roadmap at the meeting. Audience and expert panels will decide the winner, who will recieve a €750 prize. You/your group may sign up until 15 October 2025.
