The Magnetic Resonance Systems Lab (Mars Lab) at TU Delft works relentlessly on the advancement of quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging. We are presently recruiting a Ph.D. student to pursue their four year doctorate in our lab. The successful candidate will join a young and dynamic group in a prolific, creative and fun environment.

The earliest start date is April 15, 2023. The Ph.D. student will be responsible for an own research line that aims at the development of novel acquisition schemes to unlock previously undetectable biomarkers with quantitative MRI. This project will comprise a strong biophysical modeling and sequence development part and will be integrated into a larger research scheme, recently funded by an ERC starting grant. The successful candidate will also be involved in other ongoing research projects at the lab including reconstruction projects. At advanced stages, the Ph.D. student will have the opportunity to take mentoring responsibility for students at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Please get in touch to find out more details about the content of the project.
